The agreement

These terms are an agreement between your business and HoundStack covering use of the HoundStack product and this website. Creating an account means you accept them on behalf of your business.

Accounts and pricing

Plans are priced by tier as published on the pricing page. Each tier includes an allowance of active employees; an active employee is anyone with a login used at least once in the billing period, in any role. Additional active employees beyond the allowance are billed at a flat $10 per month each, shown in the billing dashboard as incurred. New accounts receive a 60 day free trial of the Launch plan, time based and not contingent on usage. Yearly billing receives a 15% discount on the plan price. Plan changes are prorated within the billing period.

Your data

The business data you enter belongs to you. You can export it in one click at any time, including after cancellation for a reasonable wind down period. We claim no ownership of your client lists, records, or photos, and we do not sell them.

Payments

Payment processing runs on your own Stripe account under Stripe's terms. HoundStack takes no percentage of your payment volume. Subscription fees for HoundStack itself are billed monthly.

Acceptable use

Use the product to run your business, not to break the law, spam, attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, or resell the service without an agreement. SMS features must be used in compliance with applicable messaging regulations, including obtaining consent to text your clients.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and to fix real problems quickly, and the service is provided as is without a formal uptime guarantee on standard plans. Offline features in the mobile app are designed to keep field work running during connectivity gaps.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the paid period, your data remains exportable, and we do not do exit fees or retention phone gauntlets.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, HoundStack's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, account owners will be notified by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
