Every enabled user on your account counts; deactivating someone frees their place. Each plan covers a team-size range: Launch 1–3 people, Growth 4–15, Scale 16+. Extra people are $15/mo, or $150/yr on yearly billing. Card payments run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢, with no HoundStack fee. How does pricing work?
Each tier is a flat monthly price. Launch includes 1 person and covers teams up to 3; Growth includes 5 and covers teams up to 15; Scale includes 20 with no team-size cap. Each extra person is $15 a month, shown live in your billing dashboard. Moving up a tier also unlocks deeper tooling like advanced analytics, custom permissions, and franchise structure.
Who counts toward the included people?
Every enabled user on your account, in any role. Techs, dispatchers, and office staff all count the same way. Deactivate someone and their place is freed.
What happens after my 14 day trial?
Pick a plan before day 14 to keep going. If you don't, the account is locked until you choose a plan, and your data is kept for 30 days. The trial is purely time based, nothing you do inside it triggers a charge.
Does the 14 day trial include everything?
Yes. Scheduling, routing, invoicing, payments, the field app and the client portal all run in full, and no card is needed to start. The AI features, a receptionist and marketing posts, are coming soon. When they launch they will need a paid plan, because every request costs real money to run.
What happens if I go over my included employee allowance?
Each person past your plan's included count is $15 a month, up to the plan's limit (3 people on Launch, 15 on Growth). Past that, you move up a plan. It's shown live in your billing dashboard as it's incurred, never a surprise line on an invoice.
Do I lose features on Launch that Enterprise gets?
No. Every plan runs the full core ERP: scheduling, routing, invoicing, payments, the field app, the client portal, all of it. The difference between tiers is complexity tooling like advanced analytics, custom permissions, and franchise structure, not core capability.
Can I buy add-ons without upgrading my whole plan?
Yes. Priority support (priority email with a same-business-day reply) is $99/mo on Launch; Growth and Scale already include it. Done-for-you setup is $199 one time, and free with yearly billing, on Scale, or for founding accounts. Card payments have no HoundStack fee: you pay Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢ through your own account.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes. Pay for ten months and get twelve. You are billed once a year at ten times the monthly price, which works out about 17% cheaper, and it applies automatically when you choose yearly billing.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Downgrades follow the same grace period handling as any plan change, and your data stays exportable in one click on every plan, and for 30 days after you cancel.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel anytime. On a monthly plan you keep access through the end of the month you've paid for. Yearly plans aren't refunded. After you cancel, you can export your data for 30 days.
